  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the Corporate & Foundation Relations (CFR) team.
  • Establish clear annual goals, KPIs, and professional development plans for each team member.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and strategic discipline across all CFR functions.
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration with frontline major gifts, planned giving, donor relations, Marketing and Communications, and hospital executives.
  • Strategy & Revenue Generation
  • Develop and execute multi-year strategic plans for corporate, foundation, and CMN fundraising that support institutional strategic priorities.
  • Oversee the creation of tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for corporate and foundation donors, including major gift proposals, transformational opportunities, and multi-year partnerships.
  • Direct the corporate pipeline, including sponsorships, cause-marketing agreements, CSR partnerships, employee-giving programs, and workplace matching.
  • Oversee the foundation strategy: LOIs, grant submissions, reporting cadence, compliance, and stewardship.
  • Lead annual planning and forecasting for CFR and CMN revenue; track progress to goals.
  • Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Leadership
  • Oversee the CMN program, including national CMN campaign relationships, retail partners and community fundraising.
  • Ensure CMN yields strong year-over-year revenue growth through proactive partner cultivation, activation strategy, and stewardship planning.
  • Coordinate with CMN national leadership and local partners to strengthen engagement and maximize ROI.
  • Institutional Collaboration
  • Serve as a primary partner to clinical and administrative leaders across Texas Children’s to match hospital priorities with corporate, foundation, and CMN opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Hospital’s Director of Strategic Partnerships to ensure coordination and alignment in building corporate partnerships for the hospital.
  • Collaborate with Research leadership to develop competitive, compliant grant proposals.
  • Work with Marketing and Communications to develop compelling cases for support, impact reports, and partner recognition plans.
  • Engage trustees, volunteers, and senior executives to support cultivation and solicitation activity when appropriate.
  • Prospecting, Analytics & Portfolio Discipline
  • Lead systematic prospecting to identify new corporate and foundation funders at the local, national, and international levels.
  • Oversee the improvement of data, reporting, and portfolio management systems to drive focus and results.
  • Evaluate proposal success rates, campaign performance, funder behavior, and industry trends to inform strategy.
  • Implement ROI and prioritization frameworks across the CFR portfolio.
  • Relationship Management & External Representation
  • Represent Texas Children’s as a senior ambassador in corporate and foundation settings.
  • Cultivate and steward a personal portfolio of high-value prospects and partners, focusing on strategic opportunities and seven-figure+ potential.
  • Ensure the highest standards of ethics, donor confidentiality, and compliance.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7 + years of Progressive fundraising experience with a strong emphasis on corporate and foundation relations
  • 3 + years of Leadership experience managing fundraisers, grant officers, or corporate partnership staff
  • Preferred:
  • Master's Degree
  • Health care or academic medicine sector experience preferred.
