Responsibilities

Florida State University seeks an Enrollment Liaison, Graduate Enrollment & Student Success to support strategic initiatives focused on graduate student recruitment, enrollment growth, and student success. This position serves as a primary liaison between academic departments, university leadership, admissions personnel, and external stakeholders in support of graduate enrollment initiatives.

  • Develop and implement recruitment and enrollment strategies for designated graduate programs to support enrollment growth objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze enrollment funnel metrics, including inquiries, applications, admissions, enrollment, and conversion rates. Develop reports and recommendations based on enrollment data and trends.
  • Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, program directors, and university leadership to identify opportunities for enrollment growth and program expansion.
  • Coordinate and manage strategic projects involving multiple academic colleges and administrative units. Monitor timelines, deliverables, and project outcomes.
  • Facilitate meetings, planning sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities related to graduate enrollment initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of recruitment events, webinars, information sessions, and other outreach activities designed to increase graduate enrollment.
  • Evaluate recruitment, admissions, marketing, and student engagement processes and recommend improvements to support enrollment objectives.
  • Assist academic units in developing enrollment growth plans and identifying solutions to obstacles impacting enrollment performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers, professional organizations, community partners, and other stakeholders supporting graduate enrollment initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for university leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Provide routine administrative, operational, and project support as needed.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and four years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience in graduate admissions, graduate enrollment management, student success, academic program administration, or related higher education functions.
  • Experience supporting online graduate programs, professional master's programs, or strategic enrollment initiatives.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, enrollment technologies, and reporting platforms.
  • Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply principles and practices of project management, strategic planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices related to enrollment management, recruitment, student success, or higher education administration.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and present data for decision-making purposes.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

This position operates in a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment focused on developing innovative solutions to graduate enrollment challenges. The initial assignment for this position will focus on designated graduate programs identified as strategic growth priorities. Responsibilities may expand over time to support additional graduate programs and university-wide enrollment initiatives. South Florida residency is preferred but not required.
